Editor's Note: This is a post on Tuesday's game from Sox and Pinstripes newcomer Caleb Gebrewold.
In the first two games, the Yankees dark spot seems to be the bullpen, besides Aceves, Joba, and of course, Rivera. No need to worry, there is still plenty of depth in the minors waiting for the shot. Today we saw production in all aspects offensively.
As much as I miss Matsui, I think NJ's patience will help fit perfectly with the team in the two hole. Cano is off to a great start to the year, and as I said earlier, he will be a great number five hitter, and force for years to come. We're 1-1, and tomorrow have a shot to win the series. AJ and Posada seemed to get along fine, all is well. Then again, its April, never any need to panic this early, especially when the schedule gets a lot easier as the year progresses. On an off the field note, congratulations to Jeter, Rivera, and Posada on becoming the first trio in any sport to play 16 years together.
